For those of you that have not read my articles in the Gold Prospector Magazine, I receive many letters, photos and phone calls from the students of this forum. They range from "Where can I find gold or a treasure"? To the interpretations of photos, of their signs, symbols, monument and trailmarkers, that they have taken. Some have also invited me to visit their sites, to help with their investigations & research.

One of the first things that I always tell everyone and have stated in my articles is: "I am not an expert!". Experts have nothing left to learn. If anyone tells you that they are an expert on this subject matter... You are hereby warned!

Second: When you contact me, the information that we share is only between you and me. I will not share your information with anyone, without your permission. If I am invited to "Your" site, I do not return to "Your" site, without your permission and "Your" presence at the site. This is your find. You have my "WORD" on that!

I know that there will be many of you who will want to contact me with questions or asking me for some type of help. I look forward to these requests. This is an educational institution and there is no charge for this service. Just like the questions you would ask any instructor.

As you all know, "Field Trips" cost money. I do not ask to be paid for the days that I am visiting your site. I do ask that you pay transportation fees, food and lodging for my time. If my assistance helps you find what you are searching for, throw me 1% of what you find. (If you should happen to decide to give me more... that's OK too. LOL)

I would like to go over some of the ground rules that you need to know and adhere to for submitting items, questions or photographs to be interpreted:

1. I will not accept any hand drawing(s) of any sign, symbol, monument or trailmarker. I do this, because you or someone else does not have a photographic memory and able to put that information exactly down on paper.

2. I only accept good quality photos. See "Photo Tips" on how to take these kinds of photos that will help you in your investigations. Your memory will not help you after you get home.

3. Do not send me photos by e-mail to be interpreted. They are grainy and do not have the definition, to be examined properly.

4. Please send me the duplicate photo(s) of the ones you have. This way, when I call you back, we can discuss them over the phone. Both of us looking at the same shot. Being on the same page... so to speak.

5. Photos will not be returned, unless accompanied by a self addressed, postage paid envelope.

6. If you have questions, I would rather you call me, than sending me an e-mail. With so many people contacting me now, I have very little time to spend the time writing e-mails. It is much faster for me to answer your questions over the phone and this way, I get to meet you.

7. Please do not ask me, "Where can I find a treasure"? I am here only to help you, after you have figured out what treasure you want to search for.

8. If you would like to buy my book, there are several ways that this can be arranged. You can send me a check or money order for $19.95. $15.00 for the book + $4.95 shipping and handling. All money orders that are received, I send the book(s) out the next day. Checks take longer to process. Make all checks or money order out to:
